Searching for the Hidden Dale : Updated!

I recently discovered that the original publications of Searching for the Hidden Dale are now available from the LDS Library (Details). I plan to try and pay a visit to one of the local centers and see if I can get my hands on the volumes that I'm missing and attempt to republish them in a digital form.

Software Upgrade

It's been more than 10 years since the original software was written that enabled me to share my genealogy information with the world. In that time I've spent a great deal of time on trying to improve it with little success. Due to recent improvements in open source projects such as Drupal I've been able to update the site software to something that is tremendously better than what I had.

I'll be adding features as time permits and hope to provide a better place for all of us to discuss our connections.

Data Discrepancies

It's come to my attention that I've got some data discrepancies on the site which are causing issues. I'm working to get this resolved but as they say, this is happening in my copious free time. I hope to have it all straightened out soon. My apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Site Redesign

Phase II of the site redesign is well underway. It should be completed within a couple of days. I am trying to make it possible for me to make updates and additions run smoother with this new layout. Please let me know if you spot any problems.

Searching for the Hidden Dale

Received copies of Volumes 1 thru 13, excluding 8 & 10, of the information previously published by the Dale Library in Phoenix. If anyone has Volumes, 8, 10, or 14 and up, I would be very appreciative if you could send me a copy.

And my thanks go out to Dorothy who so kindly supplied me with the copies.

1820 Census of Lawrence County, Indiana

Have transcribed pages 2 thru 15 of the 1820 Census of Lawrence County, Indiana. There are another 9 or 10 pages to go. Will upload the images once the entire set is transcribed.

Many thanks to Lora who has provided the images and so much more. Found the record of my Great, Great, Great Grandparents Marriage in the marriage data she sent me. Will be sorting out that data and making it available here also when time permits.

I would like to request that if anyone finds a connection to the information provided here that they notify me.
