I am searching for the names of my grandfather's parents and any siblings he may have had. The problem is I don't know his parents names. All that I know is that my grandfather, Theodore Joseph Dale (b.05/11/1900)was received by the SPCC in Philadelphia in April 1910 and placed with the Patrick & Thomas Hickey family in Lincoln University, PA on their farm in April 1910. From what I know, they raised him to adulthood, then he married my grandmother about 1930-1931 and raised a large family of 11 children.

I did find his 1917-1918 Military Registration on Ancestry.com which gave a sister Florence Dale living at 28th & Allegheny Ave. in Philadelphia at that time, but no luck finding her either, as I suspect Florence was not her given name.

Any suggestions? I've tried looking for his birth certificate, marriage license, social security records, anything that might have his parents names.
